Summary

* Computational fluid dynamic experience (i.e., Icepak, Flotherm, etc).
* Finite element experience for stress/strain/deflection estimates and
dynamic response estimates.
* Experience transitioning products into volume production and
supporting products until end of life.
* Experience designing 19" rack mountable server products.
* Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques
* Experience with ProEngineer "Top Down Design" techiques
* Designing for six-sigma.
* Experience with electro/mechanical packaging
* Experience designing for high-volume tooling (sheetmetal and plastic).

* Project management and managerial expertise
* Ability to manage or lead external and internal resources on
project/program development and implementation.
* Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals with demonstrated
ability to perform tolerance analysis, thermal analysis,
stress/strain/deflection analysis (static and dynamic)acoustics
analysis, and statistical tolerance analysis.
* 5+ years hands on experience with Pro-E for mechanical design.
* Ability to Lead the interpretation and conversion of customer requests
into product specifications.
* Experience with the development of specifications for outsourced
design and management of outsource development resources of domestic and
offshore manufacturing organizations/partners.
* Good communication and collaborative teamwork skills
* Familiarity with DFM standards employed domestically and abroad
* Design and development of mechanical parts and assemblies (sheet
metal,plastic and machined) while taking into consideration design for
EMI, Manufacturing/serviceability, safety, industrial design, and cost.
