IO frameworks and nexus drivers for the Solaris Operating System
We're looking for a technical lead with 3 - 6 years experience in
developing system level software and leading project teams.

Solaris IO responsibilities include:developing next
generation IO frameworks, developing IO
tools, analyzing and improving IO performance, and developing nexus
device drivers. Immediate projects underway include:
development of next generation IO hotplug framework, PCI Express
performance enhancements with MSI interrupts and max payload data
transfers, next generation interrupt framework development, and
development of the IO fault management architecture.
Required knowledge:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Prior
course-work in Software Programming, Operating System design and
Computer architecture.
Must have strong C programming language skills.
Preferred knowledge:
Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Prior experience developing device drivers or operating system
internals. Understanding of the Unix operating system.
