Helps position Sun Microsystems as the leading systems vendor
of enterprise computing solutions in local market through the
planning and implementation of integrated marketing compaigns
leveraging both internal and partner sales and marketing
functions.

Champions the go-to-market effort for/with partners for
partner led accounts through close engagement with Sun
partner sales team and channel partners.

Communicates with corporate groups on the local market
characteristics and requirement of the channel partners
in the creation and development of marketing programs
and product promotion for field deployment.

: Major Activities/Responsibilities
---------------------------------

a. Drives the marketing effort for/with partners for
parnter led accounts to increase partners' loyalty
on Sun and to increase Sun product sales into
partner led accounts.

b. Partner Programs
- Partner Go-To-Market Programs: develops and
implements short-term revenue generating programs
promoting offerings with channel partners.
- Product Sales Programs: implements product sales
program to achieve short-term revenue or to
achieve penetration of strategic hardware/software/
services products with channel partners.
- COOP Fund: manages and implements partner GTM fund
with channel partners for sales demand generation.

c. Marketing Campaigns - participates in the planning,
creation and localization of corporate marketing
campaigns and implements the campaigns for and
jointly with partner sales team.

d. Market Development
- Works with the sales team and parnters to promote
Sun as a leading systems vendor in the local
market place.
- Industry and Solutions Marketing: determines the
target industry segments and solutions for the
country. Develops and implements the market
penetration strategies.

e. Represents local marketing operation to communicate
with corporate groups on the characteristics and
requirement of the channel partners on marketing
programs.

f. Manages and supervises Sun's participation in the
seminars, tradeshows and conferences. Provides event
management support and monitors results.

g. Be able to work in a diverse selling environment
involving internal sales and external partners.
