Summary

Driving the management of Reman Inventory Globally to maximise the opportunity of financial return. This will include standard Sun inventory management practices including Inventory Flash reporting, E&O assessment and reporting, as well as assuring inventory integrity in line with corporate objectives. Ensuring Sun achieves the maximum value from all inventory in the Reman supply chain presents a unique and diverse challenge involving, reuse as new, remanufacture, auction sales and recycling. The role demands extensive analysis utilising Oracle, BRIO, and spreadsheet work as well as product information sources.
~40% Inventory Analysis to assure compliance (E&O, IO, Flash, LIA, ageing)
~40% Inventory Analysis for disposition - Maximising financial return.
~20% Supporting ad-hoc queries - inv status/availability, analysis
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across Sun's entire product portfolio in a dynamic and challenging environment - necessitating a high learning agility and the ability to quickly produce proposals. They will get engaged with the entire Reman team, extending to sales and marketing as well as finance and other business partners.
As this is a Global role the working day requires a degree of flexibility.

- Inventory management - experience of inv management practices
- Oracle user - 3yrs+ hands on experience.
- Confident/experienced BRIO user - Report creation, manipulation and scheduling.
- Process improvement - Identifying and realising opportunities for improvement
*Experience/Educational Background*
- 3+ Years analytical experience - Ideally around analysing Inventory
- Proven track record of effective teamwork and collaboration
- High degree of analytical and execution work.
- 3-5 Years of Inventory and Materials Management
- Product Life Cycle experience, particularly End Of Life (EOL)
- Financial appreciation associated to inventory management
- Sigma skills an advantage.
- Experience of project implementation/leadership.
- Lateral thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Business/statistics Degree - IOM/CIPS Professional Diploma beneficial
