The charter of this role is to help to drive project quality and risk management across selling and delivery. In summary, this role is responsible for:
* Establish and implement Sun project selling and delivery methodologies, policies and best practices in order to strive standardisation and economies of repetition in the execution of bid and delivery projects
* Review bids and delivery projects to ensure selling and delivery is conducted in a quality manner
* Act as trusted advisor and provide guidance to the PRC pre-sales and delivery teams
* Leads and provides directions to project managers on major projects
* Provides management oversight for portfolio of bids and delivery projects

Job Description
* Develops and continuously enhances Pre-sales and Project Delivery Methodologies, tools and policies in cooperation with GC PAO
* Organises and conducts trainigs on the methodologies, tools and policies to ensure successful adoption of such
* Conduct project audits to ensure continuous field adoption and compliance of the methodologies
* Plans and coordinates development of Partners on our project quality requirements
* Conducts project reviews on project health status and reports status to management
* Conducts pre-sales reviews to ensure that selling is conducted in a quality manner
* Provides assistance to pre-sales teams on major bids as required
* Continues to develop project management culture
* Provides leadership, coaching and development to PRC project management team, including partner PMs
* Leads and provides directions to project managers on major projects
* Provides management support, intervention and actions on project issues escalation
* Provides management oversight for portfolio of bids and delivery projects
Qualifications and Experiences
1. At least 15 years of IT industry experience, including at least 7 years of solid project management experience in a professional services or consulting organisation, preferably with a major IT or computer vendor
2. Solid track record in managing large-scales system integration projects or technology consulting assignments. Experience in large-scale application software development projects is a plus.
3. Practical experience in pre-sales management of large scale system integration projects involving multiple partners.
4. Good knowledge and exposure to key industries such as Telecommunications, Financial Services and Government.
5. Previous working experience in MNC is of definite advantage.
6. Proven experience in defining, developing and implementing policies and methodologies.
7. Proven experience and success in managing technical project team sizes of 20 or more team members.
8. Has a strong business acumen, possesses high energy levels and self-motivation, can work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment. A self-starter. Results driven and achievement oriented with an aggressive personality and "can-do" attitude, willing to take on major challenges.
9. Executive level coverage, communication and negotiation skills at the CxO level required. Ability to manage complex external customer account relationships and expectations and internal cross-functional stakeholder interests.
10. Process solid partner liasion and management experience.
11. Strong process orientation, exposure to formal project management and structured methodologies. Formal project management certification such as PMP and PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin essential.
13. High mobility and willingness to travel extensively within own home country/region to support business and project delivery activities.
14. Degress in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. MBA preferred.
